About Farcet CofE Primary School

Farcet CofE Primary School is situated in the centre of Farcet Village, which is just 3.7 miles away from Peterborough city centre. It is a small, Church of England primary school that serves the local community.

Whilst we are a small school, we have amazing grounds that we make use of which includes a wonderful sports field, playground with equipment, reflective garden, and our own fantastic Forest School. We also have an abundance of apple trees and the children grow their own seasonal salad crops and plants in the reflective garden.

We offer wrap around care, which includes a Breakfast Club and After School Club. We also offer additional sports and creative after school clubs too.

Working with families is important to us, so we ensure that we provide lots of opportunities for families to come into school and enjoy learning/celebrating achievements with their children. We also hold annual school events including our Christmas workshops supported by the Salvation Army, Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea, Easter Bonnet Parade, Father’s Day Breakfast and an annual school trip.

In addition, we also have string links with the Salvation Army in the village who provide collective worship each term and St. Mary’s Church, which we use to celebrate Christian festivals and the vicar also leads collective worship sessions too.
