Welcome to our small but wonderful school with a big heart!  Farcet CofE Primary School is a delightful school set within the village of Farcet.  All children, staff, governors and parents feel proud to be members of our school community.   

We have kind and compassionate children at our school whose behaviour is impeccable.  They all work very hard during their lessons and try their very best at all times, since they are very ambitious. They are taught by dedicated and committed teachers and teaching assistants who know each child really well, which means that they know how to both support and challenge the children that they teach. 

At the start of the school day, children and their families are greeted by the Headteacher and their class teacher/teaching assistant. All of the children have a clear routine to follow every day and they learn from the highly ambitious DEMAT curriculum, which places an emphasis upon developing children’s knowledge and skills that will allow them to thrive in the next stage of their education.   

As a Church of England primary school, we invest time in developing our Christian ethos and promote our school values of forgiveness, ambition, resilience, compassion, equality and togetherness. We welcome and value all children of all faiths and none, plus we believe that our school community is stronger for its diversity.  Daily Collective Worship allows us time as a Farcet family to worship, reflect and learn from Bible stories.  We sing hymns each day and celebrate Christian identity through prayer and quiet reflection. 

We like to work closely with our Farcet families and we offer many school events for children and their parents/grandparents to enjoy such as our annual Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea and Father’s Day Breakfast, plus weekly Celebration Assembly.
